Empty | The setting will be set to the default state, which in this case means 'Extended'. |
Basic | Basic validation checks the email format and corrects simple errors and typos, such as a missing '@' sign or similar issues. |
Extended | The validation process is divided into several in-depth stages and does not only consider the email format and potential typos. Domain records, as well as the email server, are checked to determine if the email is active and if your message can be delivered. Extended validation can also identify whether the email is a freemail account, a catch-all server, or a disposable email (a temporary email often used for fake registrations). |
